For example, car rentals in certain states of the US require customers to pay 29% in taxes. That can add up to hundreds of dollars in taxes alone. When you go pick up the car, you may not be able to afford the entire bill if you didn’t call ahead and get the full price. Plan ahead and make sure you know how much taxes will cost you during your entire trip. Oftentimes, people do not add in taxes when figuring up the costs of a vacation and end up spending a whole lot more than they anticipated.
